(Friday, March 23, 2012) – Neighborhood and Business Development Commissioner R. Carlos Carballada joined Nick Pinto and several Barton & Loguidice principals Thursday to cut a ceremonial ribbon celebrating the official grand opening of their new location in the city’s Cascade District.

Barton & Loguidice, a consulting firm comprised of engineers, environmental scientists, planners and landscape designers, will relocate from space on Washington Street to 11 Centre Park, Suite 203. Prior to the Washington Street location, the firm was located in Midtown Plaza.

“We are excited to be able to be a part of the transformation and vitality unfolding in Rochester’s West End,” said David R. Hanny, Senior Managing Environmental Scientist and Rochester Office Manager. “The new facility gives us better access to the resources we need to best serve our clients in the region as we expand our staff and overall service offerings.”

Barton & Loguidice relocated to the Cascade District to accommodate a growing staff. They are expecting to add 10 employees to the Rochester office over the next three years.

The firm employs more than 200 employees across offices in Syracuse, Albany, Rochester, Ellenville, and Newburgh, New York and Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
