News Release - City to Host E-Waste Day at Capelli Sports Stadium Saturday

(Tuesday, April 10, 2018) – The City of Rochester, in partnership with Sunnking and State Senator Joseph Robach’ s Office, will host a free electronic-waste recycling day, or E-Waste Day from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 14 at Capelli Sports Stadium, 460 Oak St. (Use Smith Street entrance.)

E-Waste Day provides the community with a safe method of recycling unwanted or outdated electronics at no cost. City residents may drop off for free disposal: electronics such as laptops, desktops, computer accessories, TVs, monitors, audio/video equipment, mp3 players, communications equipment, servers and IT equipment, printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, cellphones, PDAs, medical/lab equipment and anything else with a circuit board or cord.

Please do not bring items containing Freon (air conditioners, de-humidifiers, refrigerators, etc.), gas-powered equipment or household hazardous waste.
