(Tuesday, June 26, 2018) – Now in its 22nd year, Party in the Park continues this Thursday, June 28th, with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.

“Party in the Park is, without a doubt, the soundtrack for the summer in Rochester,” Mayor Lovely Warren said. “These concerts are yet another reason why people are choosing Rochester, because music makes our city a great place to live, creating vibrant neighborhoods, more jobs and better educational opportunities. Please come out and join us as we celebrate summer in Rochester with some great food and great entertainment.”

Party in the Park begins at 5 p.m. each Thursday at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park at Manhattan Square. The MVP Healthcare Family Zone will be on site each week. New features this year include a new and improved state-of-the-art sound system and a craft beer garden featuring IPA’s, ciders, stouts and more!

On June 28, the following food trucks will be available:
• Sonny’s Landing
• Chef’s Catering
• Doc Popcorn
• Dippin’ Dots
• Rob’s Kabobs

This year’s lineup includes:
• July 5: Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Uma Galera
• July 12: G. Love & Special Sauce, Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express, Amanda Lee Peers
• July 19: The Original Wailers, Ginkgoa, Grupo NEXTLEVEL
• July 26: Devon Allman Project with special guest Duane Betts, Tommy Brunett Band, Hayley Jane and the Primates
• August 2: Almost Queen, Big Eyed Phish – Dave Matthews Tribute Band

General admission tickets for Party in the Park are $5 (children 12 and under are free). Tickets and passes can be purchased at the gate, through Ticketmaster (ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000 with associated service charges) or at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial box office, 100 Exchange Blvd.

Party in the Park is presented on the CGI Communications Stage by Five Star Bank.
