News Release - Christmas Holiday to Affect Hours for City Offices and Services

(Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018) – City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers, 311 Call Center, Animal Services and all other administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday. In addition, some City facilities will also be closed on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. The following City services and locations will follow a modified holiday schedule:

• Refuse and Recycling collection will be on normal schedule Monday. There will be no Refuse and Recycling collection on Tuesday, Dec. 25, and collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.

• City branch libraries will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25. Normal business hours will resume on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

• City R-Centers will be closed Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25. R-Centers will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 26.

• City Hall will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25.

• Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park and Genesee Valley Park ice rinks will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25. Select open skates will be held on Monday, Dec. 24 and for the remainder of the holiday season.
