Oversees the Mayor’s office and serves as the Mayor’s senior advisor, assisting with the day-to-day operations of City Hall.  Manages intergovernmental affairs with local, state, and federal elected officials.  Provides direct oversight of the Rochester Public Library.

Sandra Simon, Director of Special Projects and Educational Initiatives


   Oversees the development and implementation of projects as requested by the Mayor. Responsible for defining, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the administration’s initiatives. Chairs the Mayor's Early Learning Commission and is the lead for education issues.
