Each month, the Rochester Police Department honors children who distinguish themselves by their exemplary behavior.

Five students from grades K - 12 are selected each month to receive this award, which is presented at a special ceremony in the Rochester Police Department Public Safety Building.

At the ceremony, the students receive their certificates along with a grab bag of great prizes including, a bag of groceries filled with snacks from TOPS, tickets to Rochester Amerks, Knighthawks, and Rhinos games, tickets to Rochester Red Wings, free meal certificate at Old Country Buffet, Kodak Advantix Cameras, Backpack with supplies, a case of Coca-Cola and T-shirts. Plus, they're treated to a spirited performance by students from the School of the Arts.
