As a part of the City's "Voice of the Customer" initiatives, the City of Rochester and the Interfaith Community sponsored a conference on October 14, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. The primary objective of the conference was to provide the city and the community with the following:
Identification of the Best in Class Interfaith programs and practices within our community
- Identification of primary areas of focus for support and deployment of City resources
- Promoting the Interfaith Community as a vital voice within our city.
The program included panel discussions and best in class interfaith programs that focused on how the Interfaith Community can best support the city initiatives in areas of:
- Public Safety
- Neighborhood & Business Development
- Education
- Services to Citizens
The Keynote Luncheon Speaker was Rev. Dr. Prince Singh, Bishop Episcopal Diocese of Rochester.
