On the third Saturday of each month you will find Margaret O'Neill in the Market Office from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. offering free healthy tastings.
The goal of the Market Tastings with Margaret is to showcase fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables and help make people comfortable trying new foods. Many of us purchase and prepare the same foods that we grew up with. We see new and different fruits and vegetables at the Market, but may hesitate to buy them, because they are unfamiliar, and we don’t know what to do with them. These sessions will help attendees break free of old eating habits and try fresh, new ingredients in their cooking.
