2014 Rochester Public Library Summer Reading Program

Each year all branches of the Rochester Public Library hold a Summer Reading Program. This year's science-based theme is "Fizz, Boom, Read!"

Beach-Day-Maplewood-SRP                  Reptile-Guys-at-Wheatley

Participants can earn prizes for reading and enjoy programs such as Chemistry Fun! with Rochester Museum & Science Center, visits from Wild Wings and the Wegmans ZooMobile, and drop-in science activities, to name a few.  We'll also have arts and crafts, cooking classes with Tops Cooking School and many visiting artists who'll share their love of music, magic and fun!

The Summer Reading Program runs from June through August, but we have great library programs year round! Be sure to watch the events calendar or search events at www.libraryweb.org for a full list of upcoming programs.
