Union Street Improvements

C&S Companies will be providing the City of Rochester with engineering design for the Union Street Improvement Project including the scoping, preliminary design, ROW incidental and final design services for approximately 3,800 centerline feet of Union Street from University Avenue to Central Park. The functional classification of Union Street is urban collector and is not part of the National Highway System (non-NHS). This project has an 18% DBE sub-consultant goal.

Scope

The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following items of work: Preventive maintenance of the pavement; removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk in select areas and granite stone curbs; traffic calming and gateway features; accident studies; street lighting improvements; evaluation and replacement of the storm sewer facilities; new pavement markings and signage; infilling of and upgrades to landscaping and streetscape features.
