June 28, 2012:  Get the Led Out - The American Led Zeppelin

City's dynamic Party in the Park concert series to be held Thursday, June 7 through August 9, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

For the comfort and safety of everyone, patrons are also asked to leave their bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates and pets at home. The City will again issue a "No Chairs" policy for the safety of patrons.  Bleachers will be provided.

Radio station 95.1 The BREW is once again hosting the local band competition, Rock Star Rivalry,  to select the opening bands for the headlining acts.   Bands entering the Rock Star Rivalry are asked to submit music in mp3 format to www.rochesterevents.com. Entries will be posted on the site and the Brother Wease morning show will highlight clips of bands throughout the registration period, which runs weekly from May 9 - July 18.  A panel of judges made up of The BREW and The Drive radio personnel will select the winning bands.

Ample on-street parking is available and at nearby parking garages, including the Court St. Garage, 194 Court St.($4),  South Ave. Garage, 39 Stone, St.($4) and the Sister Cities Garage, 28 N. Fitzhugh St.($4).

Ticket Information:

10 Week Party Pass:  $15 in advance
Allows entry through an express line and is a $5 savings for the series.
Pass may be purchase at The Blue Cross Arena, House of Guitars, Record Archive and the Bop Shop through June 21st.  
Tickets can also be purchase on www.ticketmaster.com or 1-800-745-3000 with associated service charges.  
Tickets are non-refundable and non-replaceable.

If you require a chair due to disability, please present a handicap accessible mirror hanger from your car or a bonafide note from a doctor stating that a chair is required as an option to standing.  You will be given a tag that can be affixed to your chair and you will be able to enjoy the show from your own seat!

Food Offerings:

Food and drink will be available for purchase at the festival site.  A wide selection of food will be offered, including hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, steak sandwiches, pulled pork, pizza, BBQ cornish game hens and curly fries.

Patrons may not bring food or beverages (with the exception of one sealed bottle of water) into the concerts.
