City of Rochester
News Release
(Friday, June 1, 2012) — Throughout the summer, the Biz Kid$ Real team will be setting up shop at regional festivals and events, selling a healthy alternative to typical festival foods.
The fresh fruit cups sold at the events and festivals are marketed under Vive, the product line that was developed in the Biz Kid$ Real program. The entrepreneurship program is one component of the Biz Kid$ program operated by the City of Rochester Bureau of Recreation. Biz Kid$ Real immerses city students ages 14-18 in the process of running their own business.
Biz Kid$ partners include the Farmers Market Federation of New York and Catholic Family Center’s Credit Education Bureau.
Vive products also can be ordered for your facility or function. To learn more about Biz Kid$ and its programs or to inquire about Vive, call 428-7371.
