News Release - Tickets for Rochester SummerFest Concerts Now Available at Additional Locations

(Friday, May 17, 2013) – Mayor Thomas s. Richards and event promoter Eddie Hammonds of the Team E. Foundation announced that tickets for all Rochester SummerFest concerts are now on sale. Award-winning R&B artists "TGT" and other vocalists and musical acts will perform at the second annual Rochester SummerFest, to be held on Friday, July 12 at the Auditorium Theater and on Saturday, July 13 at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. Tickets are available for purchase at each of the respective venues, as well as at other sites throughout the city, and online.

The Rochester SummerFest features a weekend full of City-sponsored musical entertainment paired with a basketball tournament and social events organized by the Team E. Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged city youth who have demonstrated a commitment to overcoming adversity.

The Rochester SummerFest concert schedule and ticket information is as follows:

Friday, July 12: Concert at the Auditorium Theatre featuring The Whispers and Lenny Williams. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show, tickets prices are $27.50 and $32.50.
• Tickets may be purchased at the Auditorium Theatre Box Office; People's Choice Kitchen, 651 Chili Ave.; and at Mad Flavors Clothing, 185 Lyell Ave.

Saturday, July 13: Concert at the Blue Cross Arena featuring TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank), Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child, Fabolous and Chrisette Michele. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show, tickets prices are $26.25 to $70.25.
• Tickets may be purchased at the Blue Cross Arena Box Office as well as at multiple locations throughout the City: People's Choice Kitchen, 651 Chili Ave.; Mad Flavors Clothing, 285 Lyell Ave.; His & Hers Beauty and Apparel, 914 N. Clinton Ave.; and at Xquisite Boutique,171 Monroe Ave.
