City of Rochester News Release
(Friday, June 7, 2013) – The Rochester Public Market will host the final Flower City Days at the Market of the 2013 season from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 9. This will be the last opportunity of the year to enjoy one of the Market’s most popular series.
More than 300 vendors, including some of the area’s best-known local nurseries, will offer a wide variety of bedding plants, shrubs, vegetable plants, perennials and annuals. Master Gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County will be on site to answer gardening questions.
The Market’s regular schedule when is from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
