News Release

(Friday, June 28, 2013) - The City of Rochester's award-winning Recreation on the Move Mobile Recreation Centers will launch their summer 2013 season on Tuesday, July 2, with a four-day visit to Sebastian Park at Parkedge Street on the city’s west side, and Manhattan Square Park at 353 Court Street on the east side.

Recreation on the Move trucks are staffed by the City’s Bureau of Recreation and provide recreation equipment, healthy snacks, information about City recreation/community centers and other programs to city neighborhoods. Last summer more than 4,000 people visited Recreation on the Move trucks, which are sponsored and supported by MVP Health Care and the Greater Rochester Health Foundation.
