(Tuesday, July 9, 2013) – The popular and free Bands on the Bricks concert series kicks off at the Rochester Pubic Market with Donna the Buffalo and Dang this Friday, July 12 at 280 North Union St. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the music runs from 6 to 10 p.m.
Bands on the Bricks is presented by the City of Rochester and Up All Night production company and is sponsored by Blue Light Imported, DosEquis, The Market District Business Association and The Puerto Rican Festival.
The remaining Bands on the Bricks schedule of acts is as follows:
• July 12: Donna the Buffalo with Dang;
• July 19: Los Lonely Boys with Tommy Brunett Band and Melia;
• July 26: Felice Brothers with Grand Canyon Rescue, Episode and the Park Avenue Band;
• Aug 2: Calle Uno with Group Next Level and Rhythm Society
• Latino Night is hosted by DJ Bonitillo and Javier Rivera of the Puerto Rican Festival;
• Aug 9: The Sound Remains the Same performing Led Zeppelin with Big Eyed Phish performing Dave Matthews
Patrons may bring one sealed water bottle to the event. Pets are not allowed and all bags and carry-in items are subject to search.
