(Tuesday, March 11, 2014) – Due to the forecasted weather event, the City is postponing solid waste and recycling collection one day for the remainder of the week.
There will be no refuse and recycling collection tomorrow, Wednesday, March 12.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to adhere to posted alternate parking regulations to enable City crews to plow the streets more effectively. In addition, residents are reminded sidewalk plowing is a supplemental service and that it is the responsibility of the owner or ground floor tenant to keep their walk clear.
Drivers are encouraged to plan for more time during the evening commute, use common sense and keep travel to a minimum especially during the height of the storm, which is anticipated to be tomorrow afternoon.
