RFP - Management of ROC the Park Urban Music Festival Concert Series

Scope of the RFP

The City of Rochester is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations to produce and manage its summer concert series, “ROC the Park,” at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park at Manhattan Square (353 Court Street) in Downtown Rochester. This series will take place on Friday nights (in the past, it has been concert per month in July, August, September) and feature regional and local talent.

The City is interested in ways to increase attendance and generate excitement for the ROC the Park series. Unique ideas such as innovative marketing/promotion ideas, sponsorship partner proposals, site setup, and other suggestions are welcome as part of all proposals.

As a result of the RFP process, the City intends to enter into a 3 year professional services agreement with the Proposer that is subject to City Council approval. The agreement will have two, one-year renewal options based on mutual consent of the City and the promoter, resulting in a maximum of five years.
