News Release - MLK Park to Host Final ROC the Park Concert Tomorrow

(Friday, Sept. 4, 2015) – The ROC the Park music festival concludes tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 5, at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park at Manhattan Square.

The final ROC the Park concert of 2015 is set for 5 p.m., with “A Tribute to Motown,” featuring Carlton Wilcox Live with supporting act Divine Nature.

All ROC the Park tickets are $5 and are available at www.ticketmaster.com (with associated fees) or in person at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial box office, 100 Exchange Blvd., and on the day of the show at the gate (cash only). Children 12 and under are free. V.I.P. tickets for each event are $25 and can be purchased on-line or at the Blue Cross Arena box office. V.I.P. ticket purchases include preferred seating, exclusive access to the artist clubhouse, use of clubhouse amenities, a complimentary meal from the night’s featured vendor and a ROC the Park 2015 t-shirt and gift bag.

Local food and beverages will be available for purchase. Patrons may bring one sealed bottle of water into ROC the Park. Lawn chairs will be allowed. Picnic baskets, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates and pets are also not permitted at the event.

Parking is available at nearby parking garages including the Washington Square Garage, 111 Woodbury Blvd., the Court Street Garage, 194 Court Street and at the East End Garage, 475 E. Main St., as well as on street in the area.

ROC the Park is sponsored by the City of Rochester and is produced by Carlton Wilcox Live.
