News Release - City Offices to Close Monday for Independence Day, No Refuse, Recycling Collection

(Wednesday, June 29, 2016) – City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers, administrative offices, City branch libraries and R-Centers will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

Refuse and recycling collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. (Monday’s pickup will take place on Tuesday; Tuesdays pick up take place on Wednesday, etc.)

Rochester Animal Services will operate during normal hours, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information call 428-7274.

The Genesee Valley Park Pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Durand Eastman Beach will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday.
