Motorist Advisory - ROC Pride Parade to Affect Traffic Saturday

(Thursday, July 14, 2016) - The annual ROC Pride Parade, sponsored by the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley, will affect traffic in Rochester Saturday afternoon. The parade steps off at 1 p.m. at the corner of Park Avenue and Alexander Street and will affect traffic until approximately 3 p.m. The following closures will begin at 12:45 p.m.:
    •Park Avenue (from Culver Road to Alexander Street)
    •Alexander Street (from Monroe Avenue to East Avenue)

The parade will also cause the following streets to be restricted to local traffic only with no through traffic at Park Avenue:
    • S. Goodman Street (from East Avenue to Monroe Avenue)
    • Meigs Street (from East Avenue to Monroe Avenue)
    • Berkeley Street (from East Avenue to Park Avenue)
    • Vassar Street (from Milburn Street to Park Avenue)
    • Edgerton Street (from Milburn Street to Park Avenue)
