Bands on the Bricks Summer Concerts Series Continues on Friday
(Wednesday, July 20, 2016) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren invites local music fans to the City of Rochester Public Market to enjoy the Bands on the Bricks free concert series from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 22. This Friday is Rohrbach Brewing Company night, featuring Jimkata, a unique fusion of electronic music and improvisational jamming. Jimkata will be replacing previously scheduled Cats Under the Stars. Also this Friday become a judge in a barbecue contest by choosing your favorite BBQ food trucks including; Smokin Petes BBQ, Seoul Food BBQ, Robs Kabobs, BBQ the Bento Box, Chef’s Catering and Midnight Smokin.
Bands on the Bricks shows are held on Fridays from 6 to 10 p.m. at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.
The remaining schedule is as follows:
• July 29 - Donna The Buffalo
• Aug 5 -Turkuaz and special guest Aqueous
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs as seating is limited.
