(Thursday, March 23, 2017) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren invites parents to sign their kids up for R-Centers’ Biz Kid$ Camp, a free business education camp for youth ages 13 through 18. Biz Kid$ Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 17 through Friday, April 21 at the Danforth Community Center, 200 West Ave.
Biz Kid$ week-long camps, held four times a year when school is out of session, teach youth how to start their own business. Biz Kid$ lays the foundation of entrepreneurial know-how though fun interactive activities and includes prizes and business supplies. Meals are provided. Students present their business idea before a panel of judges and are awarded cash and other prizes at the closing graduation ceremony.
