Motorist Advisory
(Wednesday, March 29, 2017) – The RG&E/Avangrid Project to upgrade the City’s electrical grid will affect traffic along portions of Mount Hope Avenue, Ford Street, West Main Street, North Plymouth Avenue and the Inner Loop through November 2017.
The following streets will be affected by excavation activities:
• Joseph C. Wilson Boulevard northbound between Elmwood Avenue and Ford Street.
• Mt. Hope Avenue southbound between Hamilton Street and Ford Street.
• Ford Street northbound between Mt. Hope Avenue and West Main/Broad Street
• West Main Street eastbound between Broad Street and North Plymouth Avenue
• North Plymouth Avenue northbound between West Main Street and Inner Loop
• Inner Loop eastbound from North Plymouth Avenue to State Street.
Construction activities will impact normal traffic flow and local traffic may experience some delays. Detour routes will be posted. For more information contact RG&E at 1-800-743-1701.
