(Friday, June 16, 2017) – With the continued closure of Durand Eastman Beach due to high water, Mayor Lovely A. Warren has announced that the City will be extending Genesee Valley Park Pool hours to help accommodate swimmers. The pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. beginning Monday, June 19 and ending Friday June 23. The City is also adding an open swim session from 10 to 11:45 a.m. and a lap swim session from noon to 1 p.m. The pool will resume its regular schedule on Saturday, June 24.
