News Release - City’s Final Noontime Concert Series to be Held Wednesday in Downtown

(Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren invites the community to the final Noontime Concert, on Wednesday, Aug. 2, with music by 40 Rod Lightning at the Downtown Aqueduct Park, north of the Main Street Bridge.

“Our Noontime Concerts are fun experiences for Downtown residents, workers and visitors,” said Mayor Warren. “This longstanding tradition is one of the many summer events that bring vitality to Rochester and bolster our efforts to create more jobs, safer and more vibrant neighborhoods and better educational opportunities throughout our city.”

The concert takes place from noon to 1p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch and a lawn chair. The concert takes place rain or shine with no alternative rain dates or locations.

The Noontime Concert Series is produced by the City of Rochester and is sponsored by Thomson Reuters.
