(Friday, Aug. 4, 2017) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren invites the public to visit and enjoy “Women Speak Through the Arts and the Vote - Celebrating the 19th Amendment,” a visual exhibition of work by female artists from the Rochester region.

“I am honored to welcome this exhibit which celebrates the centennial anniversary of woman suffrage in New York State as well as our rich history with the 19th Amendment” said Mayor Warren. “I hope everyone is able to come and experience this profound exhibit.”

Artists in the Exhibit include: Tish Eggleston, Mollie Wolf, Lydia Boddie Rice, Paulette Davis, LaShonda Davis, Sandra Talarico, Evelyn Cammarano, Esbette Grove, Karen Culley, Susan Strickland, Barbara Hoffman, Lisa Hoffman, Erin Nesmith, Marlene Sutliff and Jenny Jean.

There will be a public reception to celebrate the exhibit at 5:30 p.m. Fri., August 25. The exhibit will be on display through Monday, Sept. 11, 2017.

The Link Gallery is located at City Hall, 30 Church Stand is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visiting the Link Gallery is free and handicapped accessible. For more information, visit www.cityofrochester.gov/linkgallery.
