The City of Rochester, New York has received a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant for the Main Street Streetscape & Pedestrian Wayfinding Enhancement Phase II project. Utilizing the NYSDOT Region 4 Local Design Services Agreement (LDSA), the City seeks to obtain professional engineering and landscape architecture design services for the project. The project includes the preliminary design, final design and construction inspection services to extend the improvements designed and implemented as part of the Phase I project. The project will extend the streetscape improvements from the western end of the Phase I project at the St. Paul Street / South Avenue intersection westward to the State Street / Exchange Boulevard intersection. The project shall also design and implement pedestrian wayfinding signage throughout the Center City area.


Only those firms presently listed on the NYSDOT Region 4 2016-2019 Local Design Services Agreement (LDSA) are qualified to submit a proposal as the lead consultant on the project. Submittal Information

A pre-proposal meeting will not be conducted for this project.

Proposals must be received by 4 p.m. on Fri. Sept. 22, 2017. No late submissions will be accepted. Proposals shall be submitted to the City’s Project Manager:
