Brockport Research Institute President and CEO Dr. Sara Silverstone will provide an overview of the grant writing process for educational, government, and not-for-profit organizations. From identifying government, corporate and private funding opportunities that best match an organization’s needs to drafting a compelling, data-based narrative, “Grants 101” will help new grant writers to understand the funding process, create a
competitive proposal, and communicate with program managers and private funders before, during, and after the funding process.

This program will be held in the Kate Gleason Auditorium, 1st floor of Central’s Bausch and Lomb Public Library Building, 115 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14604.
