(Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017) – The MVP Health Care Slow Ride concludes for the season in Rochester’s Neighborhood of the Arts on Thursday, Sept. 14. Riders will meet at the parking lot on the corner of Russell Street and Atlantic Avenue. Registration begins at 5 p.m. and rides begin at 6 p.m.

The MVP Health Care Slow Ride is a series of hour-long bicycle rides for all ages and skill levels through the unique neighborhoods of Rochester. The rides will highlight significant organizations, historically meaningful places, arts institutions and more.

“I am thankful to MVP Health Care and all of our supporters for helping us offer the MVP Health Care Slow Ride series to our citizens and for helping us promote exercise and exploration of our city neighborhoods,” said Mayor Lovely Warren. “These special events contribute to our goal of safer and more vibrant neighborhoods, more jobs and better educational opportunities for all of our citizens.”

The MVP Health Care Slow Ride series invites everyone to travel for the joy of the journey and to sight-see in their own town. The City is teaming up with the community ride pros at Conkey Cruisers to bring this exciting new series to Rochester. The rides are also supported by Reconnect Rochester, R Community Bikes, the Rochester Cycling Alliance and Full Moon Vista.
