Start Your Family's Holiday Traditions Downtown!

Join us as we kick off the holiday season by lighting the Liberty Pole! 

Schedule:

4:30 p.m.
Join iHeart radio personality the Mayor Pete Kennedy as he spins holiday music while Santa, Rudolph, Elves, and local sports team mascots greet children at the Liberty Pole.

5 p.m.
Lighting of the Liberty Pole with Mayor Lovely Warren.

5:10 p.m.
Family holiday parade from Liberty Pole to Dr. MLK Jr. Park (including Rochester Fire Department's hook and ladder truck!).

5:30-8:30 p.m.
FREE
ice skating, horse-drawn carriage rides, and kids crafts at MLK Park Ice Rink!  Skate rental is $3, and limited, so bring your own ice skates if possible!

NOTE:  FREE old-fashioned trolley rides may be taken to nearby parking from the MLK Ice Rink to nearby parking until 8:30 p.m.
