(Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren is inviting business owners in the city of Rochester who would like to conduct business with the City of Rochester to attend a free open house event at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at City Hall, 30 Church St.

“As we work to create safer more vibrant neighborhoods, more jobs and better educational opportunities in our city, we invite local business owners to engage with us during this transformation,” said Mayor Warren. “Our Department of Neighborhood and Business Development is creating opportunities to make sure that Rochester’s business owners are supported, and I can assure you that whatever a business might need, there is almost certainly a resource in Rochester to help meet that need.”

The open house event begins in City Council Chambers with an information seminar to cover topics such as MWBE Certification, contracting, grant and loan programs and more. City staff will present information and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Following the information session, attendees will be able to attend a business expo in the Atrium where individuals may obtain information from different organizations on resources that are available to them.

Business owners interested in attending may call (585) 428-6963 or send an email to DoingBusinessWithTheCity@cityofrochester.gov for more information.
