Got Talent? ROC STARS talent show

roc-stars-logoCalling all singers, rappers, dancers, poets and visual artists. The ROC Stars Talent Show Series puts the limelight on youth artists. The 2014 ROC Stars Talent show will take place on Saturday, April 12 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at East High School. The talent show is a part of the Global Youth Service Day Youth Fair. 2013 ROC Stars Talent Show Winners

First place winners in each category received $200 cash prizes. Second place winners received $100 and third place winners received $50. The top three winners in each category are as follows:

 Singers
1st Place – Neriah Santiago

3rd Place – Davon Hardy

Poets
1st Place – Shaquille Payne
2nd Place – Diamond Cotton
3rd Place – Tahnae Carpenter-Morris

Dancers
1st Place – Lakeya Quinn
2nd Place – KS Crew(#41 School Step Team)
3rd Place – Miracles Dance Center’s Mini Competition Team

Rappers

The ROC Stars Talent Show Series is a partnership between the City of Rochester Department of Recreation and Youth Services, the Rochester-Monroe County Youth Bureau and the Nazareth College Center for Service Learning and Community Youth Development, which showcases the talent of local youth ages 10-19.
