The
City Council holds public hearings for specific legislative items on the agenda
that require hearings, as well as a monthly Speak to Council session. These meetings are open to the public in
order to allow constituents to voice their opinions, ideas, concerns or support
for either legislation that the Council will be voting on, or any other issues
that may be affecting the community.
Any
person wishing to speak at the public hearing regarding the specific
legislation under discussion may do so at the meeting. Advance sign-up is not required.
Advance sign-up is required for
citizens who wish to address the Council during the Speak to Council
session. All persons wishing to speak
must sign up no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day of the Speak to Council
session.
