The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the centralized and coordinated management of all Department of Information Technology projects, delivering enterprise-scale projects on-time and within budget.
This includes:
- Working with senior management to ensure that projects are classified, prioritized and selected to align with City strategy and goals.
- Assisting the City departments to define requirements for IT projects and manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
- Actively executing IT projects to increase project efficiencies and accuracy.
- Monitoring project progress and dependencies that affect resources, budgets, and schedules.
- Standardizing project management methods and processes.
