Project Review Committee (PRC)

The Project Review Committee (PRC) is a nine-member advisory board established by 120-181 of the City’s Zoning Code.

PRC reviews all major site plans referred to it by the Manager of Zoning and makes a recommendation to approve, approve subject to conditions or deny the application.

The Project Review Committee is made up of the following individuals or a designee:

  • The Manager of Zoning
  • The Director of Development Services
  • The Manager of Planning
  • The Permit Office Manager
  • The City Engineer
  • The Manager of Code Enforcement
  • Three urban design specialists, appointed by the Mayor, that could include, but not be limited to, an architect, an urban planner and a landscape architect:
    • Dave Beinetti, Architect, President / Principal, SWBR Architects
    • Roger Brown, Architect, Principal, Urban Architecture, CDC Creative Consultant
    • Jim Yarrington, Architect, RIT Director of Campus Planning, Design & Construction Services, and Adjunct Professor

Meeting Schedule

The PRC meets on an as-needed basis with meetings occurring generally once per month. Meetings are open to the public; however, no public participation is permitted. 

All meetings begin at 4:00 PM.
