Motorist Advisory
(Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022) - The Monroe County Veterans Day Parade will take place this Saturday, Nov. 12, causing temporary street closings. The parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. at Pinetum Drive and S. Goodman Street. Street parking within the parade route is prohibited.
The following streets will close at 7:30 a.m. and will re-open as the last participants move along the parade route:
• Reservoir Avenue from South Avenue to Pinetum Drive
• Pinetum Drive from S. Goodman Street to Doctors Drive
• Doctors Drive from Pinetum Drive to Mt. Vernon Avenue
• S. Goodman Street from Highland Parkway to Highland Avenue
The following streets will close at 10 a.m. and will re-open as the last participants move along the parade route:
• Highland Avenue from Lilac Drive to Mt. Hope Avenue
• South Avenue from Reservoir Avenue to Stewart Street
• S. Goodman Street from Elmwood Avenue to Highland Avenue
