(Friday, Feb. 17, 2023) – The City of Rochester and Rochester City Council invite the community to the Total Health & Wellness Pop-Up, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023 at The Honorable Willie Walker Lightfoot R-Center for Equity & Justice, 271 Flint St.
The Community Total Health and Wellness Initiative is a collaboration of the City of Rochester and Rochester City Council to help define gaps in the health and wellness needs of Rochester’s underserved communities and bring services right into the neighborhoods that need them most.
40–50 health, wellness and other quality of life service providers will be on hand to provide information, services and resources for housing, food assistance, medical and mental health, addictions, and more. The pop-up fair will feature food, winter clothing items and other giveaways.
The Initiative is the outcome of recommendations from the Committee on Racial and Structural Equity (RASE), specifically, on enhancing neighborhood resources and programs by bringing health and wellness services into the neighborhoods that need them most.
