The City Council’s Finance Committee, chaired by
Councilmember Mitch Gruber, will conduct an extensive public analysis of the
Mayor’s proposed 2023-24 City budget.
The process will consist of individual public review sessions
with each City department that will take place over a three-day period, May 24,
25 and 26.
A joint public hearing will also take place on June 8
that will allow constituents to voice their opinions and offer comments on both
the proposed City and RCSD budgets.
The budget hearing process provides an opportunity for citizens
and business owners to watch the Council’s in-depth review of the Mayor’s
proposed spending plan.
