About us
Unfortunately, many in our community with low- to moderate incomes are left with limited options, often resorting to high-risk and costly banking alternatives. The Bank On Rochester Coalition is formed by the Mayor’s Office of Financial Empowerment with the assistance from the Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) to help improve the financial stability of Rochester families by providing access to safe and affordable financial accounts and services.
The Coalition is comprised of representatives from community-based organizations, financial institutions, and local government agencies that provide services and resources such as financial education, credit counseling, savings programs, banking series, credit repair, employment assistance, youth engagement, and other financial empowerment programming.
The Bank On Rochester Coalition is proud to join the national Bank On movement to create a more equitable and prosperous Rochester.
