Join the City of Rochester’s Adult Workforce Development initiative in partnership with Rochester Monroe and Poverty Initiative (RMAPI) and Community Employment Opportunity (CEO) for a Meeting of the Minds event-themed Men on the Move: Building Confidence and Careers.

Men on the Move: Building Confidence and Careers is an empowering event specifically designed to support men of color in advancing their education and careers, creating a path of upward mobility. 

Attendees will receive free professional headshots, a complimentary breakfast, and lunch.  In addition, a dynamic panel of Black men will have powerful discussions regarding topics such as mental health in the workplace, overcoming adversity, and the importance of career stability.

Interactive workshops will focus on essential skills like personal branding, self-advocacy, goal setting, entrepreneurship, and discovering personal strengths. These sessions are designed to equip men with the tools they need to thrive both professionally and personally.

This event is an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, gain practical skills, and be inspired by stories of resilience and success.
