Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Right-of-Way Transition Plan

The City has begun the work on creating an ADA Transition Plan for the City's Right-of-Way.

ADA Transition Plans are required by the ADA Legislation and provide a plan for removal of physical barriers to accessibility in transportation systems and facilities for people with disabilities. This plan will be specifically focused on building a plan for the removal of physical barriers to accessibility within the City's right-of-way, including sidewalks, crosswalks, bus stops, and other pedestrian focused infrastructure.

Using funding from the Genesee Transportation Council, the City has engaged the services of Precision Infrastructure Management to lead the development of this plan. If you would like to be involved in this plan, please contact the project manager listed below.
