News Release - City Offices to Close Monday in Observance of New Year’s Day

(Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017) – City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers, City Branch Libraries, Animal Services, 311 Call Center, R-Centers and other City administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 1 in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.

There will be no refuse and recycling collection on Monday, Jan. 1, and collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.

Genesee Valley Park Ice Rink will be closed on Jan. 1, and will feature open skate sessions on Sunday, Dec. 31 from 1 to 2:15 p.m. and from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.

Martin Luther King Jr. Park Ice Rink will be closed on Jan. 1, and will feature open skate sessions on Sunday, Dec. 31 from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. and 1:50 to 3:20 p.m. There will also be special New Year’s Eve open skates at MLK Jr. Park beginning at 7 p.m.
