News Release - City and County to Distribute 10,000 COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits, KN95 Masks Before Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day

(Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022) - The City of Rochester, in partnership with Monroe County, will distribute 10,000 COVID-19 rapid test kits and KN95 masks on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Rochester Community Sports Complex. The event will be located in the stadium parking lot. Residents should enter using the Smith Street entrance, located at 448 Smith St. The event is open to Monroe County residents and no pre-registration is required.

This will be a drive through distribution. City and County teams will distribute a maximum of two COVID-19 rapid test kits and four KN95 masks per car. Each kit will contain two COVID-19 tests. Kits will be distributed on a first come, first serve, basis.

Residents unable to make the event or needing additional test kits are encouraged to take advantage of the federal government’s program, which sends four free COVID-19 tests to every home.
