City Council Confirmation Hearing

The Rochester City Council will hold a confirmation hearing for the newly appointed Chief of the Rochester Fire Department, Chief Stefano Napolitano.

Chief Napolitano, who formerly served as the Batavia Fire Chief,  is scheduled to join the Rochester Fire Department effective September 11, 2023.  

Chief Napolitano will serve in an acting role pending his confirmation by the City Council.  

 There is no cost to attend.  The meetings are open to the public.

 Parking is available on street, in surrounding surface parking lots, and at the Sister Cities Garage, corner of Church and Fitzhugh Streets.
