News Release - Arson arrest for Fifth Street Fire

(Thursday, July 1, 2010) -  Today, the Rochester Fire Department’s Arson Task Force charged a Brian Pollard, 45, of Rochester with Arson in the 3rd Degree (C Felony) for setting an incendiary fire at 28 Fifth Street, which was a two-story double occupancy, family residence.

On June 18, 2010 at 6 p.m. the Rochester Fire Department responded to 28 Fifth St. and found multiple fires set in the basement of the unoccupied dwelling. Fire damage was moderate and no injuries were reported.

Pollard is currently in the Monroe County Jail awaiting arraignment which is schedule for Friday, July 2 at 9:30 a.m. in City Court Part 5.
