Marina Project

The Port of Rochester Marina Project creates a deep-draft marina basin that can accommodate 85 boats. The marina is located immediately south and west of the Port of Rochester Terminal with the entrance approximately 0.5 miles south of the Lake Ontario. The basin will be surrounded by a park and public promenade that will connect the Genesee Riverway Trail to the Charlotte Pier.

Harbor Management Plan

The Harbor Management Plan will recommend a structure for and provide direction to a management entity for the Rochester Harbor.

Private Development

The Port of Rochester Mixed Use Development project will convert 2.8 acres of City-owned land in the new Marina Zoning District between North River Street and Lake Avenue into a mix of residential and commercial uses.
