RFP - Rundel Memorial Library Facility Lease


The Rochester Public Library (RPL) seeks a multi-year tenant to sublease up to 4,300 square feet of office and exhibit space on the second floor of the Rundel Memorial Library building. The desired tenant(s) will be 501c3 incorporated organizations with established organizational and financial history, which would benefit from occupancy in a public building. Additional consideration will be given to organizations with mission and service populations that complement or advance the mission of the RPL.

Public hours of operation are:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00am-6:00pm*
Thursday 11:00am-7:00pm
Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm (closed Saturdays from July through August)
Sunday 1:00-5:00pm (closed Sundays from May through September)

* First floor of the Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building (second Central Library facility) opens for first floor service only at 9:00am.

The RPL’s hours of operation at Rundel begin at 8:15am daily, and conclude fifteen minutes after public closing. Morning access to the Rundel building prior to public opening is provided through the Bausch & Lomb building entrances. Tenant facility access outside of these hours will be restricted to officers and/or management upon request to the RPL.

The Library is closed for major holidays including New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve/Day.
