About the Project
The City of Rochester, through this Request for Proposals solicitation, seeks proposals for the purchase and development of vacant land located within the La Marketa Urban Renewal District from qualified developers/teams to purchase and creatively improve land on N. Clinton Avenue. The approximately 1.7 acre site is the subject of this RFP and it presents several City-owned parcels along N. Clinton Street, between Sullivan and Hoeltzer Streets. The Site comprises the majority of La Marketa URD in the El Camino neighborhood.
It is the City’s intention to receive development proposals that will lead to the sale of the Site to a Developer who presents the desired use(s), best plan/layout, and demonstrates the best financial capacity to undertake the proposed project. It is expected that Developers will creatively improve the Site with the necessary land use or mix of uses to achieve a specific vision and goals for the Site.
