Master Gardener Sessions
Is something bugging your buds? Be prepared to have all of your garden questions answered by the experts from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County. Master Gardeners will be on hand each Sunday during the sale to help anyone with a garden issue. Customers are free to bring in a sample of any plant for a free diagnosis. Gardeners interested in using more organic growing methods can get unique ideas for pesticide free growing. Ever consider using worm castings as a fertilizer? This could be the year to try something new and you can find it at Flower City Days at the Market.
Garden Materials Recycling Program
Customers can bring their used garden containers and flats to the green recycle center at the Market office, or visit the recycling center and take as many containers as they need. This "give and take" process helps marketers build a truly green community in the Rochester area.
